Each registrant will be required to agree to these terms while completing their registration and should abide by them.

Photographing and Recording

You consent to the photographing and recording of your likeness and voice and the use of these photographs and/or recordings singularly or in conjunction with other photographs and/or recordings for advertising, publicity, commercial or other business purposes. You understand that the term “photograph” encompasses both still photographs and motion picture footage. You hereby release the Producer and any of its associated or affiliated companies, their directors, officers, agents, employees and customers, and appointed advertising agencies, their directors, officers, agents and employees from all claims of every kind on account of such use. You agree that the Producer shall be the sole owner of all material captured at the SDPA Annual Summer Dermatology Conference 2018 and reproduced for post-event products.

Conference Attendance & Registration Policy

Due to American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) CME policy, all SDPA conference attendees must be healthcare providers, 18 years or older, and have their own individual assigned badges visible at all times in order to be admitted to conference sessions. These sessions include, but are not limited to, lectures, workshops, and the Exhibit Hall. In addition, AAPA and industry regulations require that only registered healthcare providers attend events specifically supported by the pharmaceutical industry. Mothers with nursing infants are permitted to bring the infant into the meeting space provided the infant is not disruptive.

For other events not covered in the preceding paragraph, the SDPA requires the attendee to have a badge unless otherwise stated on reception invitations. On the occasion where attendees are allowed to bring a guest, the guest must be 18 years of age or older. Conference participants are responsible for ensuring their guest adheres to local laws for alcohol consumption. The SDPA reserves the right to refuse service and admittance for any guest including the right to ask the guest to leave the reception, or other events, for any reason.

You will be asked to accept these policies, and the cancellation policy, during registration for the conference.

Payment by Credit Card

All credit card charges relating to the Conference will be made by SDPA, your credit card statement will reflect as such. If you are using a company credit card please provide your employer with this information. Please do not dispute this charge, as it will invalidate your Registration.

Payment by check will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis as an alternative to the preferred method of credit card payment. If you need to pay for your registration via check, you MUST contact SDPA Conference Management for approval at conferences@dermpa.org prior to completing the registration form.

Meals

The Conference program fee includes breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks for the PARTICIPANT ONLY, as detailed in the Conference Program.

All meals with the exception of the Pre-Conference Day program will be provided by pharmaceutical or other industry as part of product theaters. It is the responsibility of the participant to know their state laws and employer regulations regarding acceptance of meals and gifts. Conference registrants should not register to participate in the meals if they are barred from accepting meals and gifts (inclusive of certain thresholds) provided by the pharmaceutical and/or other industry by their employer and/or state licensing board. SDPA cannot provide separate meals for participants who do not register to attend product theaters, and participants will need to make their own meal arrangements.

Meeting Rooms

The Conference General Sessions will be held in the Grand Ballroom at The Westin Seattle. SDPA Registration booth, meal functions, and Exhibit Hall will be in the same general area.

Special Considerations

While every attempt will be made to control the temperature in the meeting room for your comfort, please remember to bring a jacket or sweater.  If you have any dietary needs, please let us know at time of registration.

Mothers Room

The SDPA works hard to accommodate the needs of our attendees. To assist nursing mothers we will do our best to secure a location for nursing mothers. Further details will be posted here as well as in our conference mobile app closer to the conference.

Special Needs

We encourage participation by all individuals. If you have a disability, advance notification of any special needs will help us better serve you; please contact conferences@dermpa.org at least six (6) weeks prior to the event.
