Conference Attendance & Registration Policy

Due to American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) CME policy, all SDPA conference attendees must be healthcare providers, 18 years or older, and have their own individual assigned badges visible at all times in order to be admitted to conference sessions. These sessions include, but are not limited to, lectures, workshops, and the Exhibit Hall. In addition, AAPA and industry regulations require that only registered healthcare providers attend events specifically supported by the pharmaceutical industry. Mothers with nursing infants are permitted to bring the infant into the meeting space provided the infant is not disruptive.

For other events not covered in the preceding paragraph, the SDPA requires the attendee to have a badge unless otherwise stated on reception invitations. On the occasion where attendees are allowed to bring a guest, the guest must be 18 years of age or older. Conference participants are responsible for ensuring their guest adheres to local laws for alcohol consumption. The SDPA reserves the right to refuse service and admittance for any guest including the right to ask the guest to leave the reception, or other events, for any reason.

You will be asked to accept these policies, and the cancellation policy, during registration for the conference.

SDPA cannot provide separate meals for participants who do not register to attend product theaters, and participants will need to make their own meal arrangements.
